Thanks for these thoughts and notes. Sometimes I feel a bit hesitant about pushing forward.
'Am I posting too much, creating rubbish, etc. etc., and I don't want my art to look like anyone else's or join a 'fad'. Then a random thought popped up to 'Be notorious' - perhaps the wrong word - and Bold might be better or Persistent, or maybe Blatant.
I want to be the first point of call (certainly for friends and family) of folks wanting some wall art for themselves or as a gift. Any time they go scrolling - I'm going to be there.
My new Mantra is 'Be Blatantly Bold' (the rule of 3 B's).
I appreciate your thoughts, Teresa, but when I say, “most won’t,” it’s not conjecture—it’s reality. Even if you take into account the 80/20 rule, that’s a large percent of people who won’t take action. It’s not a criticism, but a fact. It is what it is.
And me talking about referrals is more about wondering how can I do things differently or better to make those referrals more beneficial to the readers.

I think that’s a good plan, Simon, to be the one that people think of when they want art in their homes.
