Letters from the Creative Director

Sometimes I need to be straightened out by the wiser version of myself

I've been on a creative journey to find the middle ground between my art style and my design aesthetic.

During that journey, I've had to have a few conversations with my internal creative director about whether the work is going in the direction I want.

Things in my personal life have been a bit chaotic, some self-imposed, and some external, and I think that's been reflected in my work a bit lately.

So the conversation I had with the creative director of my soul revolved around finding more balance in my life and that balance will find itself in my work.

Or I could create boundaries for myself in the work, be more patient, find more ways to reduce the creative chaos, and maybe that will transcend into my regular life.

Both efforts are worth a try, and after I share just one more explosive piece, I'm going to find ways to dial the volume level down just a hair and see what happens next.
