Is It Too Early to Talk About Threads?
Are you on Threads? I am! And yes, it may be too early to talk about the 2-day-old platform (at the time of this post) because although everyone is buzzing about it right now, it’s impossible to know what audience retention will be there in a month, year, or longer.
However, the new addition to Meta’s stable of apps presents us with a unique opportunity to be an early adopter, unlike any time prior, because we can bring all or some (or none) of our Instagram friends along.
At the moment, Threads feels a lot like Twitter 2007, where everything is light, fun, and a bit chaotic. You’re seeing people you may not know and brands you may not want to follow, but the system is doing its thing and figuring out who you are. As more people move to the platform, your feed will look more familiar, but how do we grow?

is a Twitter pro with a heart of gold, always sharing his success strategies in his newsletter, 1% Better, and now he’s sharing his view on the Threads Opportunity. Is Saatchi Art Worth the Effort?
I have an account on Saatchi Art, mainly to test the platform and share my experience. I had not sold anything on there until this year, which was a pleasant surprise. It made me want to lean into that marketplace more, but is it worth the extra energy?
Mark Rebennack thinks so. Saatchi has been instrumental in him selling most of his larger pieces, getting published by the company, and participating in exclusive events. He’s also gotten more attention from media outlets, podcasts, and notable galleries and dealers, but is his strategy the best?
His process may not work for everyone, but can anyone succeed if they work the system to their advantage? Read more below.
Art Snack: Boaz Sides/UNTAY
Boaz (aka UNTAY) is a muralist based in Tel Aviv and Budapest. I’ve been a fan of his work for several years, and I’m fascinated by his minimalist forms and subtle use of bold color.

With Threads’ quick success and a resurgence in the popularity of newsletters, could we get a blog renaissance next, and if so, how do we make money from it?
